Do sectors such as tech have a problem when it comes to diversity? How much of this is down to habits and opinions formed at school age, and how much is down to workplace culture? Are there enough opportunities for women and those of ethnic minorities in the sectors that will continue to grow in Manchester? What can be done to change things?
The issues around diversity are several: for too long too many of the growth sectors have felt too much like there’s a certain type – are we in danger of being, as the classic phrase has it “pale, male and stale”?
Beyond quotas: what are the ingredients for true diversity? Join a panel of some of Manchester’s leading businesses to discuss, debate and learn.TICKETS OUT SOON
